Get Active:Paper, Plastic, & Bras?

Many people recycle paper and plastic but did you know that you could recycle your old bras? Help save the environment and change the life of a deserving lady one bra at a time.

On average women wear less than half the number of bras they own. I personally own over 10 bras but I usually only wear three of them. I went on a Google hunt for a place where I could recycle my old and forgotten bras (I hated the thought of throwing them out like yesterdays trash). Not too long after my Google hunt began, I stumbled upon The Bosom Buddy Program. The Bosom Buddy program is a bra-recycling program that donates gently used bras to women in need. They accept all types and sizes of bras from everyday bras to maternity and special needs bras. All they ask is for the bras to be in good condition, have functional straps and clasps, and for you to wash the bras before donating. They make the donation process extremely easy by providing a form on the website for you to fill out. After that you just place the bras in a box or large envelope addressed to,

3317 S. Higley Rd,
Ste 114-441
Gilbert, AZ 85297

I am currently deciding on which bras I am going to donate. I never realized how many bras I had. I actually counted 20! At least ten of them were ones I out grew or never really liked. I challenge you to do the same! Go to your room and pick out at least one bra that you don't wear and donate it to The Bosom Buddy program. You can help change the lives of women all over the nation by simply donating what you have in excess.
